Opdater
Det er ikke muligt at opdatere en cookie. I stedet opretter man en ny med samme navn. Browseren anvender så den nye til at overskrive den eksisterende.

Slet
Det er ikke muligt at slette en cookie. I stedet opretter man en ny med samme navn og med udløbsdato i fortiden. Browseren sletter så den eksisterende cookie (eller gør i hvert fald ikke brug af den).
